Fall Farm Escape: Caledon Colours, Campfire Feasts, and a New Audio Adventure!
Fall's golden embrace painted the backdrop for a perfect weekend escape – a camping trip on a beautiful farm in Caledon, Ontario. Freshly brewed coffee fueled the morning routine after setting up camp, and the enticing aroma soon gave way to the sizzle of breakfast on a brand new flat top griddle. Our hearty breakfast hash featured succulent sausage, crisp peppers and onions, and golden potatoes, all crowned with a perfectly runny fried egg – a delicious way to kickstart the day.
The crisp autumn air invigorated our spirits as we embarked on a hike around the sprawling acreage. Vibrant fall foliage adorned the forest path, and a visit with the resident horses added a touch of charm to the exploration.
As the day surrendered to dusk and the temperature dipped to a cool 4°C, we gathered around the crackling fire. The task of collecting enough deadfall to keep the flames dancing throughout the night became a welcome excuse to stretch our legs and enjoy the starry spectacle above.
Dinner time brought another feast – juicy smash burgers loaded with melted cheese, crisp lettuce, fresh tomato slices, and tangy pickles. A special sauce added a secret touch, making these burgers the ultimate comfort food under the starlit sky.
This trip also marked the exciting debut of a new stereo microphone, promising richer and more immersive audio in future videos. Let me know in the comments if you notice a difference in the sound quality!
Thanks for joining me on this autumn farm escape. Stay tuned for more adventures to come!
