Winter Wonderland Escape: A Snowy Retreat in Haliburton
A winter wonderland greeted us in Haliburton! Honey Pie frolicked in the snow while I explored the cabin property. Snowed in, we reveled in cozy relaxation by the fire. Brunch featured a fried egg sandwich with ham, while dinner was a feast of lemon salmon with wild garlic rice, spinach, and snow peas. Even a winter storm couldn't dampen the joys of this snowy retreat with Honey Pie!

Cozy Nights and Korean Feasts: A Hot Tent Adventure
Honey Pie and I embraced fall with another hot tent adventure! A new chimney made setup a breeze, and lunch featured classic comfort food – tomato soup and grilled cheese for me, steak for Honey Pie. As the sun dipped, we explored a nearby river and a charming fence, then returned for a cozy Korean feast of Gimbap and a steaming pot of Gamja-tang soup with kimchi – the perfect way to beat the autumn chill in our warm and inviting hot tent.

Summer Campout: Relaxing by the River and Delicious Eats
Honey Pie and I chilled by a crayfish-filled river on our latest camping trip! A summery breakfast of oatmeal with roasted chestnuts, coconut flakes, and berries fueled our morning, while dinner was a fiesta of carne asada flank steak tacos topped with fresh salsa verde from St. Jacob's Market. Ice-cold horchata added a refreshing touch to this relaxing escape in nature – the perfect break from a busy summer!

Hitting the Trails: A Rainy Spring Campout in Halton Hills
Honey Pie, my adorable pup, joined me for our first camping adventure in the rainy spring woods of Halton Hills! A new Hex Plus tent by POMOLY kept us dry, while a sizzling steak and a colorful shakshuka fueled our post-lake swim appetites. The T1 Mini 3 stove kept us warm at night (with a stove chimney lesson learned!), and a Hydro Flask mug ensured a hot coffee start to a breakfast of oatmeal, nuts, and berries.
